TOWN COUNCIL TO VOTE ON ESTABLISHING TWIN RIVER AS A FULL CASINO
As of this writing, the town council will be voting at their meeting whether to allow the Twin River video slot parlor to convert to a full casino with table games and chips, with coins and cash, instead of paper payouts.
The general assembly is likewise looking to vote on this later in the week.
This website has been warning the residents of Lincoln this day would come for years and it appears the will of the state will prevail over the wishes of the people who live here.

TOWN  RECEIVES POOR GRADES FROM INDEPENDENT AUDIT
At the February town council meeting, independent auditors had reported significant deficiencies within the financial operations of both town hall, school department and the water commision.
According to the auditors findings, the town of Lincoln's combined long term and other indebtedness has reached over $53 MILLION.
In addition, the town has significant unfunded liabilities within the town's pension funds.
Read both reports exclusively on our web site here (management letter) and here (audit).
